Performance art offers us, the artist and the viewers to join as a community. There are dreams we need dream together, images we need to make: memories and visions we need to dream forward as a community to metabolise the difficult truths of being alive today. In dreaming together, we regain the agency to shape, restore and create the reality we share. Performance art breaks through the isolating barriers of the artist’s process and invites everyone to be open to the nature of experience and fantasy, for we can no longer survive in encapsulation or the lack of imagination.
